What actually shows up

A bay on wheels, not a bucket in a trunk.

“Mobile” covers two completely different businesses. One is a person with a pressure washer who needs your spigot and your outlet. The other is a self-contained rig carrying its own filtered water, its own power, hot-water extraction, controlled lighting and a full polishing setup.

We are the second one. Paint correction and ceramic coating normally mean leaving your car at a shop for three days. Here it happens in your own garage while you carry on with your week.

How we work
Detailing products and equipment laid out beside the vehicle
Filtered water on board
Tank, pump and filtration travel with us, so panels dry without mineral spotting even where the tap water is hard.
Independent power
Extraction, steam, lighting and polishers all run off our own supply. No cords through your window.
Controlled inspection light
Defects that hide under daylight show under raking light. You cannot correct what you cannot see.
We work where you are
Driveway, office lot, apartment garage, commercial yard. If there is room to open the doors, we can work.

Services

Four kinds of work. One standard.

All services
Glossy dark paint overlaid with a dense web of fine circular scratches
The same frame with the marring removed, reflecting cleanly
Drag the handle, or focus it and use the arrow keys.Illustration. One photograph, shown with and without simulated clear-coat marring.

Paint correction

That haze is not the color. It is damage.

The reason a black car rarely looks black is a web of fine circular scratches in the clear coat, put there by washing rather than by the road. Under a single light source they scatter the reflection and turn depth into gray.

Correction removes them from the clear coat rather than filling them with something that washes out in six weeks. We measure paint thickness first, agree a test spot with you, and tell you honestly what will not come out.

Packages

Three levels. Priced by what the car actually needs.

Starting prices are for a coupe or sedan in reasonable condition. Size and condition move the number, so every job gets a real quote before we start. No surprises at handover.

How a booking runs

Six stages, in this order, every time.

  1. 01

Tell us the vehicle and the space

Call or send the form with the make, model and rough condition, plus where the car will be: driveway, office lot, street, garage. The space decides what is possible on the day, so we ask about it first instead of discovering it on arrival.

  2. 02

You get a scope and a real window

We come back with what the vehicle actually needs, what it will cost, and how long it will take. If a cheaper service gets you what you want, we say so. If your space rules out coating work, we say that too, before you commit.

  3. 03

    We arrive self-contained

Water, filtration, power, extraction and lighting all come with us. Nothing plugs into your house and nothing connects to your spigot. Setup takes a few minutes and leaves your driveway usable around us.

  4. 04

    Decontamination before anything else

Wheels and wells first, while the paint is cold, then a foam dwell, then a safe contact wash. Iron removal and clay treatment strip out what is bonded into the finish. Every later stage depends on this one being done properly.

  5. 05

    The work you booked

Extraction and steam inside, polishing, sealing or coating outside. On correction jobs you approve a test spot before the rest of the car is touched, so what you are buying is something you have already seen on your own paint.

  6. 06

    Walkaround, then handover

We go over the car with you in good light: what came out, what did not, and why. You get straight aftercare, covering how to wash it, what to keep off it, and when it is worth coming back.

Service area

One number, both sides of the Columbia.

We cross the bridge most days. Clark County is home; Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas are the rest of the week. If you are just outside the ring, call and ask. It is often still workable, particularly for the bigger jobs.

Questions

The things people ask before they book.

All questions

Do you really bring everything, or do I need to supply water and power?

We bring everything. The rig carries its own water tank, filtration, pressure system, generator and extraction equipment. You do not need an outdoor spigot, an outlet, or a hose. That is the entire point of a self-contained mobile setup: it means we can work at an office lot, a condo garage or a street spot in Portland just as easily as at a house.

What do you actually need from me on the day?

A parking space we can work around, roughly one space either side of the vehicle, and the keys. For interior work, take out anything valuable or personal beforehand, since we would rather not move your belongings around. Correction and coating work also needs a garage, carport or covered space, and we confirm that with you before booking rather than on arrival.

How long does a detail take?

A maintenance visit runs two to three hours. A full Signature Detail is five to eight hours depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. Paint correction is a full day for single-stage and two to three days for multi-stage, and a ceramic coating adds cure time on top of that. We give you a realistic window when we confirm the booking, and we would rather quote long and finish early.

Do you work in the rain? This is the Pacific Northwest.

Yes, for most services. Washing and interior work go ahead in wet weather, we set up under cover where we can, and rain does not affect an interior extraction at all. Paint correction and ceramic coating are the exception. Those need a dry, protected, covered space, and if the forecast or your space will not allow it, we reschedule rather than compromise the result.

What is the real difference between this and a car wash?

Two things. First, contact method: a drive-through brush or a dirty wash mitt is what puts most of the fine scratching into clear coat in the first place, so our wash process exists mainly to avoid adding damage. Second, decontamination: chemical iron removal and clay treatment take out what is bonded into the paint, which no wash can do. Run your hand across a hood before and after and the difference is immediate.

Do I need paint correction before a ceramic coating?

Effectively, yes. A coating is optically clear and semi-permanent, so it locks in whatever is underneath it, including every swirl mark, for years. Coating uncorrected paint means paying to preserve the defects. We will always tell you what level of correction the car actually needs, and if the honest answer is a single-stage rather than a full multi-stage, that is what we will quote.

Book it

Tell us the car and where it sleeps.

The more you tell us up front, the more accurate the quote and the fewer surprises on the day. If you would rather just talk it through, the phone is always faster.
